When Royal Canin changed their Chihuahua formula and Dolly & Desi were drinking huge amounts of water and their eyes would water down their faces, I talked to the vet and he said to take them off of it, they must have a sensitivity to corn. He told me to get the Science Diet Small Bites and said that is what he feeds his dogs. When I went to PetSmart, all the SD Small Bites had corn as the first ingredient. Maybe he doesn't read the labels. Mine ended up with Nutro Natural Toy Breed and Nature's Recipe Toy Breed. No food problems since they have been on those.
