All chew a little, some chew a lot.  Just keep them in a safe place,  an x 
pen is perfect, and get them plenty of chew toys.  The good thing is  they 
do outgrow the chewing, at least most do. Once you can trust them not to  
chew, they can be allowed out of the x pen.
