Sheryl, yes, my sisters and I are beginning to think that it may be heredity
but neither my parents or grandparents on my fathers had it. We don't know
about our grandmother on my mothers side, and of course the doctors all say
there is not proof that heredity factors can be proven. Yes, to a degree I
agree that excessive stress can bring on an attack. I should also mention
that I have Divictalitis (sp?) as does one of my sisters. So when we get an
attack it's a double whammy!

Do you take any meds for yours? They had given me meds a couple of years
ago, and God I thought I was dying when I tried them, so needless to say, I
stopped them.

It is so sad when a little dog has it, the poor things can't say what they
are feeling. I wouldn't wish this crap on my worst enemy! It's like once you
get it, your stuck with it for life.

Peggy , stress can be one of the factors. Or maybe a severe illness like
the poor little chi . Or I bet heredity can also be a cause . With me , mine
started around the time my divorce hit.
Definite stress. I still have the stress
of being a single mom , so still have
the IBS.
Your life sounds wonderful to me btw !!
: )
