My girls are not liking the fireworks that my neighbor has been shooting off for the past 30 min! Atleast Gigi doesn't hide and shake, now she is bold and stands on the chair at the window and barks at them to stop!
Last year, when we had July 4th, I brought her outside so she could see what was making all of that noise. I held her in my arms and sometimes on the ground for a good 15 minutes. Once she saw that I wasn't afraid of them and laughed and clapped, she understood it to be a good thing and stopped shaking and didn't hide in the house anymore. I did the same thing with Princess when I first got her, and now they are not afraid anymore..... which is a good thing! Anyone have Labor Day fireworks where they are?
