Do they attack you in swarms, like these things are doing? I hope that I hear something on the news about them. Maybe they can say what they are, and if they are going to die out or go south again. I sure hope that none of them breed here, they are a horror! I have heard in the past that a lot of insects and birds have been thrown off course from bad storms and that is why sometimes a state that shouldn't have that particular species, now has them.

For some reason I thought you were in FL. We have more bugs here in MI too just this last week because of the rains we got, Sue On Wed, Sep 5, 2012 at 8:08 PM, Peggy & The Girls <[email protected]> wrote: Long Island, NY. I got all bit up, and they are all over the place. Everything is soaked and the temp is only 77 but the humidity makes it feel like 90. It's awful out there, and I am not going out after dark with all of those bugs. I don't ever remember seeing anything like this before. My sister called me and she is a good 20 minute drive from here and asked me if we have tiny flying bugs all over the place. I hope they go back south for the winter!! So Gloria, you really don't want this rain, LOL!
