Well it seems that we had 2 tornadoes! The first was an E0, that hit Queens, and 10min later another, E2, 110mph, hit Brooklyn! The second one did more damage with fallen trees. They say that it is all part of the storm that swept through VA, leaving 100,00 without power. So glad they missed LI.
