I did a little birthday party for Dolly's first birthday. I blew up a picture of her and then cut out the shape of her ears. I then traced the ears onto cardstock and cut them out. I put her full picture on a piece of cardboard, and then did tape rolls and blindfolded people to 'Tape the Ears on Dolly'. Then I made tiny little dog house shapes, one set with nothing cut out, and another set with a tiny hole like a doorway. I printed some of Dolly's pictures where her head just fit into the doorway. I used glue stick to put the picture of her on the solid part, and then the doorway right where her head was. I then taped the party umbrella toothpicks on the back and stuck them into mini muffins...they were 'Pupcakes'. I also did a multiple choice Chihuahua trivia game. We had fun and Dolly - she made out like a bandit. when I got Desi, I told Dolly to never tell Desi about her birthday party...it was a lot of work. Oh...I also scanned a box of Hot Tamales and shrunk it and edited the words to say 'Dolly Tamales' and then glued those onto baggies with some Hot Tamales as the little thank you gift for attending.
