I never give my babies anything like this........ the rawhide chews are extremely dangerous. The Small pieces can stick in the throat and swell and block the trachea(airway) causing death. I was on another Chi group and a *friend* posted that her Chi died of this. They now have the chews made of *gelatin* and will give them this to chew on and not the others. One caution,,,,,,,,,,,don't let them chew it to much, as they can end up with very loose jell like stools. I found this out with SAM, my Chi/Boston. Being a biger boy he in a day ate the whole thing!
