I agree. I feed one of our CHIs in another room and he only comes out when everyone is done eating. Our vet lets me hold the dog when they give a shot. They do muzzle 1 of them to trim their nails because it goes much easier. I also agree that some manners need to be taught. I think it is important to protect them from ever feeling afraid enough to have to bite to protect themselves particularly around strangers or children. Sue
