Hello David, Thank you for sharing this wonderful story with us about the strong bond you fiancée and her handicapped small dog (Doberman pinsher x Chihuahua mix). It touched my heart. Thanks! I would love to see his picture!
Greetings from the Netherlands, Rita From: David Stern Sent: Wednesday, November 28, 2012 4:22 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [Chihuahuas] The Weirdest Dog I Have Ever Seen This post is about my fiancée's dog. It is an 11 year old female black Doberman pinscher mixed with a Chihuahua. The dog weighs less 4 kg (less than 8 lbs), has no teeth, a broken lower jaw, and had a broken leg that apparently did not completely heal. It has a very small head and relatively very big ears. Like any pinscher or Chihuahua, it thinks it is a lot bigger than it actually is. It barks a lot and attacks bigger and stronger dogs. Sometimes it bites, but the bites are hardly felt, because of its lack of teeth. Sometimes it holds another dog's ear and hangs on it. Honestly, this is the weirdest dog I have ever seen - and we live in the same house. My fiancée's ex-landlord was disgusted by the dog. Even when my brother's dog looks at it - its expression is saying: "what is this creature?" Despite all that, my fiancée loves her pet. It is loyal, loving and actually quite a laugh. Children think it's cute. She holds it as if it was a baby. She feeds it with sour cream, cheese, meat and sometimes with special dog food. Going out, my fiancée sometines puts it in a bag, one that the dog can easily hide in. The relationship between my girlfriend and her pet can be a lesson for many people. It proves that one can be happy loving and caring for someone that is weak and handicapped. The affection my girlfriend gets back from her pet is very satisfying her. I appreciate it very much.
