Hi,
My Dolly eats the Nutro Natural Toy Breed. She is a little under 8lbs and she
is getting 1/4 cup divided by two meals...but this is because she gained some
weight and it is falling off.
She gained because the Atarax she takes makes her hungry and she does seem
hungry all the time...but that is the meds.
Do you weigh your chis regularly? Are they both the same weight and they both
expend the same amount of energy during a normal day?
I know that Dolly was a picky eater before and she was a free feeder and didn't
always eat 1/4 cup a day. I had to take her off the Royal Canin Chihuahua and
she gobbles this up right away.
If the one that seems starved isn't gaining weight, feed it a little more.
