Hello...Both of mine get the runny eyes. Usually at this time of the year it is allergies. Check with your vet, but Desi (a little over 8lbs) gets 1/4 twice a day. Dolly has really bad respiratory allergies so she is on Atarax every day, twice a day. Dolly also had a very bad eye infection a little more than a year ago. It was an infection of the gland that is between the eyes. She was treated with antibiotics and she had a relapse shortly after that. Please take a white facial tissue and just blot the discharge and see if it stains with any sort of a color...even faint. If there is some color, you are best to go to the vet to see if it is something serious. Dolly is now having vision problems especially at night and the vet said very well could be the eye infections caused it.
