Welcome Bonnie ! Wonderful that you are going to get a chihuahua ! They are super little dogs ! I am sure there are lots in rescues needing a home in your state . I have 4 - 3 are rescues . Do your research , read up on them . Rescues and foster homes are great because they have lived with the dog and already know all about them !
