I prefer older pups too since I work, even tho I can come home to let a pup out
if need be. Alice was 7 mos when I got her and was able to go 9+ hours at
night. Most of my dogs were adopted as adults, Brutus at 7 yrs old. Some of my
fosters were even older and I have not had any problems integrating them into
my pack.
