Sophie is our little rescued dog and think we have had her about six months
now.She has improved a great deal, but will also regress now and then. We
finally got her to go outside but then sometimes for about a week we find
little surprised waiting for us in the hallway...she has decided the bathroom
is inside...we don't yell at her..just renew efforts on making sure she is
taken out...I am aware however that during the winter...puppy pads will
probably be needed...she really HATES the cold weather here in Utah. She won't
even follow the other dogs out in the cold...i just keep a supply of pads
around.
Another thing is, she believes she is the "alpha" dog...bosses the other dogs,
even the border collies...nips at all their feet and snaps too at people...she
adores me and my husband and son...but still on occasion will bare teeth if she
feels threatened..which we are trying to figure out how we do that...LOL...she
sleeps under the covers right next to me...with our other little mix chihuahua.
One thing that bugs me, is my husband would let them eat from his plate..told
him don't do it, but he don't listen and now we have two little monsters who
won't eat dog food and is picky on people food..
Just kinda lost as what to do sometimes...HELP!
