Hi ! Upto now I had no need to serach for replacement chips and I tried
it for the first time. I tried with "NetComponents" link from
www.chipdir.nl page and my browser did not accept cookies (which is odd,
I checked the settings, all was OK). I don't know how to search more.
I discarded ftz since these chips are very likely to be obsolete.

 Here's the info :

 Type : ROM
 Manufacturer : Macronix
 Site : http://www.macronix.com
 Datasheet : http://www.fulcrum.ru/Documents/CDROMs/MACRONIX/memPdf/maskrom/23c2100.pdf
 Memory : 2M-BIT [256K x 8/128K x 16] CMOS MASK ROM
 Marking : MX23C2100
 Pinout :

  NC 1 40 A8
  A7 2 39 A9
  A6 3 38 A10
   5 4 37 A11
   4 5 36 A12
   3 6 35 A13
   2 7 34 A14
   1 8 33 A15
   0 9 32 A16
  ~CE 10 31 ~BYTE
  VSS 11 30 VSS
  ~OE 12 29 Q15/A-1
   Q0 13 28 Q7
   Q8 14 27 Q14
   Q1 15 26 Q6
   Q9 16 25 Q13
   Q2 17 24 Q5
  Q10 18 23 Q12
   Q3 19 22 Q4
  Q11 20 21 VCC

Are there any EEPROM/FlashROM chips compatible to this type ? Even the
ones with different pin layout are OK (I'll just make a PCB to re-route
the connections), as long as they have the same functioning.

BTW: If anyone gives Me the lesson about doing a search myself, I won't
mind. But then I'm a just a worker on a '83 milling machine.

Next problem : either I'm browser-blind or I or could not find the
official sharp website (while searching, I even stumbled upon a medical
company !?). I need this URL to find a datasheet for LH5320H4 (it
performs the same function as the above MX23C2100 chip). I need data on
this one as well to make sure about pin-layout and maybe speedup the
search for compatible ROM chips.

Regards
