Yep, that's it; I read the D as an O.  I wonder if the SFM40 is a high voltage diode also?

You will find the HTD3 EDI under Special Devices. It's probably measuring correctly. It's a 3KV PRV 50 ma 200 degree Centigrade operation diode.

I have a schematic that shows a device drawn as a conventional diode and
labeled SFM 40.  I have two of the boards and one has a device in said
location marked ED6343 EDI, the other HT03 EDI.  Could EDI be the
manufacturer?  These devices have a cathode band on the case, but do not
seem to have a junction when tested.  The exhibit very high resistance in
one direction (3 megohm or so) and infinite resistance in the other.  They
are in an epoxy case that is about the length of a 1/2 watt resistor, but
smaller in diameter than a IN4007.  They are also multisided and not round.
Anybody have an idea what these lil buggers might be?
