I presume you mean for the HP16500A? Well, if it's the same as a HP1650B, then it's as follows :
1 = NC (+5) 2 = NC (PWR GND) 3 = CLK 4, 6, 8 ... 36, 38 = SIG GND 5 = NC 7 = D15 9 = D14 ...... 35 = D1 37 = D0 39 = NC (+5) 40 = NC (PWR GND) AFAIK, the pod assembly is where some sort of RC compensation network exists, in the two-pin probes that are within the pod assembly. According to a diagram, this RC network consists of two resistors in series, with a capacitor in parallel to the second resistor (the side going to the LA).
