Check the VIC-20 programmer's reference guide (ISBN 0-672-21948-4) page 218 (and following) for a 6522 software description. The book also contains a schematic drawing of the VIC-20, so you have the pinouts for 6502 and 6522. The Commodore 1541 floppy drive also used the two chips. A very good collection of 8-bit stuff is the funet archive (ftp.funet.fi). It contains schematic scans, rom images, magazine articles and lots of other material that you'll need when dealing with this retro stuff. -- Jens Schnfeld -- Author: Jens =?iso-8859-1?Q?Schnfeld?
