Hi all, The Chipdir has been included on a CD about embedded programming: http://www.embeddedlogic.com/ELSweb/SEST_info.html
For more information about the publisher: http://www.embeddedlogic.com/ (The site also mirrors the Chipdir.) The CD only costs $15 plus a few dollars for shipping. Of course I got a couple of them for free and I must say that it looks very good and contains (besides an off-line version of the Chipdir) a lot of useful extra information, mostly free embedded systems programming software (for DOS, Windows and Linux). Of course most or all of the information can also be found somewhere on the internet but when your access to the internet is costly and/or slow, this CD can be very useful, I think.
