No, javabeans are modules with standard functions
for the Java language. Kindof like DLL's, but
safe, because they can only run in a 'sandbox'.

Java applets on the WWW that are part of WWW pages
may have loaded them to your system if you have
Java enabled in your browser.

Yes, they are innocent.

They probably have a distinct extension like .jb.
Have a look with windows explorer.

Have you tried looking for 'javabean' or 'javabeans'
with a search engine. It may help to look for those
words in combination with url:Sun or url:Javasoft.
