Yes, I have similar suspicions about "conductive foam" and oxidation,
although this may depend on the manufacturer of the foam? I prefer
to store chips in tubes, but protected from dust too. Also, I don't like
the soft plastic "end stoppers" for the tubes, these tend to leak
plasticiser after "long" periods of storage.
