Looking for Scarce Chips

I used to use PartMiner with great success to look for scarce chips.  It popped up suppliers and sometimes even asking prices.  But I think it went to a high-priced subscription.  In any event, I cannot even reach their website now.   I tried the multi-Search thing at ChipDir, but it returns a bad referral page error.   What is available on the web these days that actually works to look for scarce chips?  It is frustrating how quickly things change on the web.   Syd H.
