I am being pushed to undertake a design project. From a
business point of view, the outlook is reasonable. The hardware is
manageable, the niche is currently empty, the real market will begin a
year or two hence, and backers may well be available. Local and
International sales contacts are known.
What I want to know is this: When/if I develop the hardware,
what hurdles do I have to jump then? Looking at Europe initially, what
standards are required, or where could I find out what applies?
Is it (as I somehow fear) that the red tape has expanded to crowd out
any small timers from entering any market?
