I think you'll have difficulty getting 10V out with only a 12V supply. I
presume you're talking 0, & 12V as supplies, and 0-10V out. I'd like a
15V spupply at least.

Start doodling with a pnp transistor as supertransistor in an output
circuit. You might do it that way. You can also current limit by putting
a small resistor in the emitter, and two diodes from supply to base
would provide some current limiting.
