I am running a strange and hard quest... perhaps you can help me. I have open my Logitech Scanman Color handheld scanner, because unfortunately it is obsolete - it works with a pc ISA card. A beautiful engineering - both design and circuit board - made 1991 in JAPAN.
I want to use the linear sensor Omron B5N-2306 (package DIL, 22 pin), but I cannot find the data sheet / application notes (on the same board there is a chip, Omron TF211EF 8625Y). I searched with Altavista and in newsgroups. It is so a pity to put this beautiful sensor in the trash can! It is a very good challenge to try to use the sensor, with some info. Can you help me?
