Does anyone happen to have the pinout for the
IMI SC462 clock generator chip?(sometimes the chip is called an IMISC462).
If you do, please send it. If you have the datasheet, that would be even
better. I know that the IMI product line was acquired by Cypress, and that
they have an obsolete products section, but this chip is absent. I am
trying to upgrade a socketed CPU in a laptop. I need to configure the bus
to run at 66MHz instead of 60MHz. My first step is to substitute a VRT
mobile Pentium 133 for a VRT mobile Pentium 120. Because these both have
dual supplies, I hope to insert a Tillamook mobile Pentium MMX 266 in the
socket. MMX chips do not like to be underclocked, so I need the right bus
speed. I also added a trimpot to adjust the Vcore for the new chip.
On a regular motherboard, this Tillamook chip running at the specified 1.9V does
not run any hotter than a Pentium 133.
I am thankful for any help I can get.
Brad
Thanks,
