Hello Fred,

searching around a bit I can confirm that the name of the substance is
correct. You have to disassemble it a bit different in the beginning:

di-aryl-ethane

where "aryl" stands for a special organic group (like acryl,
carbonyl, acetyl,...) derived from the benzene ring

However, all I found where some vague descriptions that this compound
can be used to replace PCB as dielectric in certain applications.
