I have need of powering up an industrial PC in a normal m/b. I currently have 2 giving problems here.
I am wary of connecting it to a standard m/b, because I would be connecting outputs; I am unwilling to solder the edge connectors, as I may return the unit as faulty.
If I pull the cpu on a m/b, will everything float? Am I worrying about nothing?
