I am subscribed to this list in digest form, and I regularly get those viruses, too - wrapped inside the digest.
So I'd say that infected messages are definitely being sent to the list, unless we're facing some new virus designed to forge digest headers :)


On the other hand, the list server is supposed to filter out binary attachments before redistributing messages (*), so those of you who are receiving viruses are probably getting them directly from the culprit.

(*) digests, on the other hand, are assembled with unfiltered messages, but that's an old story ;)
