I'm trying to ID a SMD component and was wondering if anyone could help?
The 2 contact component sits in series with the supply to an LCD backlight controller (LTC1932), is 0603 in size, its marked LB on its top surface (it certainly looks more like LB than L8 or B7/87) and has a black top and a white ceramic base/body. There is a marking 1A on the board nearby which makes me suspect its a 1A fuse but I would like to confirm this.
(1A is one heck of a power rating for an LCD backlight on a PDA - the battery is 1.7Ah!)
(It could also be a diode to drop the voltage into the controller a bit or possibly a resistor for interference reasons.)
Does anyone know of a company that sells 0603 sized one shot fuses with a marking LB rated at 1A?
Any thoughts welcome.
Thanks,
Richard
