Step 2 in your Menu for a UV5R is STEP{Frequency Step} Available
Settings Are 2.5/5/6/6.25/10/12.5/25khz Your error message says you have to
change
to the correct Frequency step. The Frequency Step for GMRS is 12.5khz..What
is the Frequency sterp on your radio?
