[chirp_users] Unable to program Leiden vv898

Hello, i am unable to program the 898 due to warning message that the radio is unable to accept 12.5kHz ( or less) steps, I have tried setting the steps but it will not accept frequencies with less than 25kHz steps. How can I remedy this?
