I recall having a problem with dashes or other special characters in my 
password. Using a more simplistic password seemed to work just fine. Check the 
settings on your password manager if you use one of those.

There is no password for CHIRP.
I'm not sure why they ask for one but there is no such animal.
Just contact their support team and ask you questions.
They are volunteers so dot expect an immediate reply.
Allow at least 1 weeks time.

unless the system actually knows my email address, other email addresses that 
aren't registered get an error message. So I know I'm in there to some 
extent....
