Rick:

When you edit the subject of an email so that it LOOKS as if it is a new 
thread, it does not change the internal header information.

Your header still contains information that indicates it is a "Reply to" 
message.

This is what is in your header:

Date: Tue, 31 Mar 2020 07:51:15 -0400
To: Discussion of CHIRP <[email protected]>
From: NE1EE - Rich <[email protected]>
