Agreed. I have two IC-207H's and would loan one of them to a Chirp programmer to allow them to create the code. I would even pay return shipping fees just to get this radio in Chirp. It was a very popular model just a few years ago, and its successor (the IC-208H) is already available in Chirp. It's a mystery why the 207 was overlooked. If none of the developers has one, or has access to one, that makes it very difficult to assess what's needed in the driver, and impossible to test any code that's written.
