Linux mint 20 users suffer like Ubuntu 20.04 users (also other distributions 
too don't get me wrong) -- most packages that are dependent on python2 were 
removed such as libxml, pygtk2 and others.

Search the chirp_users archive as 2 solutions were just mentioned yesterday.

The tldr is you can either do a one time fix by installing some packages from 
Ubuntu Xenial repos and then continue using the PPA or you can install flatpak 
support and then install the chirp flatpak package.
