Jim,
If you don't mind an additional question to Brandon's, to transmit on
the following Groups would require the frequency ranges listed below.
                Group Frequency
                FRS 462-467
                GRMS 462
                MURS 151-154
                STAR/DOT 151 & 464-467
                BIZ 151-158
                Marine 156

So you would need a radio that transmits between 151-158 MHz and 462-467 MHz.
And, I am guessing that the "2021" models or those that are "FCC Part 15 Part
97 Certified. FFC ID:2AJGM-UV5R" are not the ones that will transmit on the
above Frequencies.

This one should work for the above listing:
        https://www.amazon.com/Baofeng-UV-5R-Plus-Range-Radio/dp/B07CMZ2QCF

Is this correct?

Thanks,

Eric

My guess is that when you bought the second batch of 4 you purchased based on
price and totally missed that the cheaper UV-5R radios being sold today are
firmware locked to only transmit within the 144-148 MHz and 420-450 MHz USA ham
bands. Any frequencies programmed outside of those ranges are TX disabled (RX
only).

For example, these Amazon listings state "* Frequency Range:
144-148MHz, 420-450MHz"

https://smile.amazon.com/Baofeng-UV-5R-136-174-400-480Mhz-1800mAh/dp/B074XPB313
https://smile.amazon.com/BaoFeng-UV-5R-136-174-400-480Mhz-Transceiver/dp/B007UYKG4E

And this one states "* PLEASE PAY ATTENTION to that the item is the latest
version of the UV-5R radio, whose frequency is 144-148/420-450Mhz. You have to
set the frequency among 144-148Mhz/420-450Mhz,or the radio will not transmit "

https://smile.amazon.com/Nicama-Baofeng-Upgrade-Version-420-450Mhz/dp/B09268B6JM

To program these radios so that CHIRP automatically shows the channels locked
(Duplex = "off") the same as they are in the radio, you should be using Vendor:
Baofeng / Model: GT-5R

If you want a UV-5R that will transmit across the same range that it will
receive, you will have to spend more money on the ones that aren't yet locked
in this manner yet (and are becoming more scarce every day).
