I am considering adding the following to the next Guide to Chodosh. I
anyone there feels that it is incorrect, please send me email at
[email protected]

“People have suggested that gluten-free foods are always Yoshon, since they
do not contain any of the 5 grains that may be Chodosh. In fact, oats are
also considered “gluten free”. Therefore, it is necessary to ascertain that
even gluten free products do not contain any oats that may be Chodosh.”

Thank you

Y. Herman

PS: The harvest of the new Chodosh crop is probably at least 5 weeks off.
