Comment #5 by tartaros1: I'd really love to understand the logic behind the decision to install anything in user-specific Local Settings. I mean, come on - "Local settings", does it sound like a place to install programs? But let's be constructive, how about "Program files", sound any better? And yeah it's not really my idea, it's just the place where all the other programs are, by some magic coincidence. By the way the reason why I wanted the choice is that I have an EEE laptop which only has limited space on the "system" drive, so I tend to install programs on the other one. That is all.
