Issue 1502: Scaled (Zoom) Pixel Image Blur http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=1502
Comment #1 by tobias.lind: I can confirm this problem. At the very least there should be a way to turn this off in the browser, but since there's no way for web developers to control this image interpolation (it's not uncommon to use smaller images blown up a bit as a design choice) I suggest that it gets disabled completely for when scaling images up. Bilinear interpolation is better suited for scaling images down, when scaling them up it really does nothing for the image quality and in fact it simply ruins the image by making it blurry. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
