Comment #5 by cody314: Or better yet, just have when a new tab is created, to see if the last user action was a CTRL-C (copy to clipboard from chrome). This would include most of the users who are attempting to do this. If they copied something in chrome, and then is making a new tab right after. Chances are the user is intending to search this, and in this case you can have the new tabs omnibox initial guess to that of the clipboard. This reduces the risk of sensitive data into the omni box.
