What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. open chrome
2. enter url for any web page
3. hit return
What is the expected result?
requested page loads
What happens instead?
resolving proxy message in lower right of window for many seconds or
indefinitely
Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.
this problem occurs upon requesting a page only once, immediately after
chrome is launched. For example if all the chrome windows are closed the
next attempt to load a web page will have this problem.
