Comment #5 by rjw.pope: The differnece between 0.9rec and 1 is the smallest strictly positive rational number. Unfortunately it is also congurent to 0 and therefore not strictly positive. Anyway, i can't remember where, but afew years ago when working with divs on some forum i stumbled upon the revelation that according to the standards "float:[left|right]" requires height to be explicitly set otherwise behaviour is undefined.
