Comment #1 by sundar: I got a new HP desktop computer for our kids, running Vista 64. With the default config of IE + Yahoo Toolbar, I had 3 unsuccessful installs of Chrome. It went through the full process and appeared to work, but never created a desktop icon. It also wasn't available under any obvious folder in the start menu, or findable via Vista desktop search.
