Issue 1947: Ctrl + Enter implicitly assumes a link starting with www
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=1947
Comment #2 by [EMAIL PROTECTED]:
Our behavior matches Firefox 3 and Safari 3 here. So no matter what we do
some
people will be angry. I think our behavior is slightly more predictable
than the IE
behavior, and if I have to pick a group of users to help I'd like to pick
the group
where we'll be saving more keystrokes (people who want ctrl-enter to add
eight
characters to the string rather than four).
