Thanks for the tips Finnur. I did the following:

1. Started Chrome by

  "%USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Application
Data\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe"
--noerrdialogs

2. started gmail, logged in,
3. started timesofindia.com in another tab
4. started dailyshow.com in a third tab, clicked on the video on the first
page
5. Changed tab to timesofindia, started reading...

CRASH. Browser vanished.

6. Went to %TEMP%
7. No .dmp files there?!

Just to check, started cmd, performed
cd %TEMP%
dir *.dmp
dir /s *.dmp

Nothing. No filed found in either dir command.

Then, Went to eventviewer, and saw this as a general "Information" from
Chrome.

The description for Event ID ( 2 ) in Source ( Chrome ) cannot be found.
The local
computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL
files to
display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the
/AUXSOURCE= flag
to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The
following
information is part of the event: Chrome. Crash uploaded.
Id=95d9c001f84a8b1f.

Note the crash ID. Maybe this helps?
