Issue 2262: Close button removes url from omnibar (for slow connections)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Go to http://www.last.fm/user/kurtrips (or any heavy page for that
matter).
2. Move cursor onto the Neighbours link, right click and click 'Open link
in new tab'
3. Quickly navigate to the new tab and press the Close button.
What is the expected result?
The ominbar should show http://www.last.fm/user/kurtrips/neighbours
What happens instead?
The omnibar shows about:blank
Note that for testing this you'll need to press the Close button pretty
quickly i.e. before the page loads. I encounter this problem on
1) My real slow dial-up connection.
2) When my ADSL broadband connection gets temporarily
disconnected/experiencing slow speed.
