Issue 1862: navigator.language is always set to en-US regardless of the UI language of Chrome http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=1862
Comment #7 by [EMAIL PROTECTED]: navigator.userLanguage : http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb415448.aspx navigator.language : http://developer.mozilla.org/en/Navigator.language Firefox 3 and Safari support navigator.language as documented above while IE supports navigator.userLanguage. Neither has anything to do with what's sent out via Accept- Language header. Both refer to the UI language of a browser. We have to do the same, then.
