Issue 1539: Cache problems (waiting for cache..)
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=1539

Comment #2 by Bell.Sean.M:
I have been waiting for the "Waiting for cache" statusbar message for about
5 minutes
now;

I am trying to download several small files and none of them are
responding, all
respond with the same "Waiting for cache..." status message popup. I
currently have
4 chrome tabs open and a gmail 'application' tab.

Chrome Tabs:

+One Gmail application window.

I am running Chrome dev release 0.2.152.1, Windows Vista Home Premium SP1.
No known
changes to default install (upgraded version today)

Task Manager opens ok - 6-15% cpu on the browser process, not much
otherwise, no
network activity except gmail tab. Browser proces 81mb memory

about:memory does not load (it appears in a new tab in the address bar, but
nothing
is rendered) from Stats for nerds list.
